Job Description


Responsibilities

Responsible for independently performing, interpreting, and correlating clinical laboratory tests to assist physician diagnosis and treatment. Performs testing according to policies and procedures. Provides clinical laboratory testing expertise to include problem solving.

Qualifications

Required for Medical Laboratory Technician:
  • Diploma Medical Laboratory Technician
  • Must obtain Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) credential within 9 months of hire
Required for Medical Technologist/Medical Laboratory Scientist:
  • Diploma Medical Technology
  • Must obtain Medical Technologist/Medical Laboratory Scienstist (MT/MLS) credential within 9 months of hire
  • Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS license)
  • Medical Technologist (MT license)
  • Molecular Biology (MB)
  • Specialist in Microbiology (SM)
